Quarantine feels so weird… Anyone else feeling the same way?! With the world being in a place of unknown right now, it can be so easy to fall into a sad place. But that’s exactly what I am here to make sure doesn’t happen! I have been thinking of someways to help boost all of our moods while being stuck inside our homes.
Make yourself a schedule
This one I know can be a lot easier said than done! We are all trying to find a new “normal.” I created a little template that you can use on a daily basis to give yourself a little bit of structure to your new normal. What I especially love is that I created times to make sure that I am getting active and staying healthy along with being productive.
To use this daily schedule all you have to do is either save it to your device and add in the times that you want to complete that activity during. Another way to use this is to print it out that way too you can check things off as you complete the task.
Getting active can be such a big part of lifting your mood while at home. Some of the ways that I have been staying active is through taking longer walks with Teddy. By getting out in the morning right as I am waking up allows me to wake up and feel like I can take on the day.
Other ways that I have been trying to stay active is by using different apps and attending virtual classes. One of my apps I have been is using is Peleton, they are offering a free trial for 90 days that allow you to take virtual classes (you don’t even need to add your credit card information in).
Another resource that you can use to get an at home workout is the Daily Burn website. They too are offering a free trial that allows you to take classes. Daily Burn has a free trial for 60 days and offers personal trainers.
Whatever you are doing to help stay fit during this time it is so important because working out helps boost your happiness and mood! Find a class you LOVE or walk the neighborhood to look at the flowers blooming.
Mood Boosting Playlist
Sometimes all you need is a good song to jam out too…am I right? All you need is a good song to workout, dance around, or just sing along too. I put together a playlist for just that. These are some of the songs that can turn my mood right around!

Tv Shows to Binge
I know one of the things that I am doing with all of this time at home is binging new shows and old shows that I love! I bet you are doing the same exact thing. I put together a list of some of my favorite shows to binge watch. I made sure to add some my favorite movies in there too so you can have an at home movie night.
Support Small Businesses
If you are doing some online shopping from the comfort of your home, make sure you are supporting small businesses! It is such a tough time for so many people and so many companies right now so try to support small businesses and any of the local businesses.
I wanted to mention some of my absolute favorite small business that I will be supporting during this time.
Aria Rose is by far one of my favorite clothing boutiques and I have share so many pieces that I truly love from them. I absolutely adore the owner, Lauren too whom is so sweet and kind. If you are looking for the perfect loungewear for being at home they have new arrivals weekly and are the cutest sets.
I know your nails might be looking rough, just like mine were. Thankfully, I was able to get a set of press on nails from Clutch Nails. They seriously made me feel like I just left a nail salon & they look amazing. They have so many different styles and lengths.
If you are wanting to upgrade your skincare routine during quarantine you definitely want to try some Tula Skincare out. I have been a long time lover of their products and they even have some new goodness coming out.
Another brand that I love that can be extremely useful right now is Hello Fresh. If you have not heard of Hello Fresh they are a meal kit delivery service that brings you boxes full of all the ingredients you need to cook a few dinners. You can customize the box for a plan for two or for a family size. I think that this is a great way to make sure you are getting some meals delivered to you that way you don’t have to leave your house and brave the grocery store.
That about wraps up everything you need to survive this quarantine. I know that times are really tough and scary right now but by staying home and being optimistic we will get through this! If you do not have to leave your house, please don’t. If you are leaving the house even just for a walk around the neighborhood make sure you are practicing social distancing, and washing your hands when you enter your home.
