I took a day trip up to New Hampshire this weekend to go see this gorgeous ice castle. I had seen some of my friends post these pictures surrounded by an amazing ice castle. I knew as soon as I saw it that I wanted to go, I mean come on it would make for some bomb Instagram photos and stories!
I checked out the website and bought the tickets and planned out my Saturday to make this three-hour drive up to the ice castles. The morning of it was freezing cold and rainy, but my excitement could not be contained. The drive was stunning. New England has some of the most beautiful landscape. The trees were snow covered and were glistening. It was such a peaceful drive up to snowy New Hampshire. If you saw my Insta post over the weekend I showed you what the drive looked like!
We finally made it and arrived at this stunning ice structure. It really did look like an ice castle. When we walked it felt like we had just entered a whole new world. I am not kidding you I thought that I was in a fairytale. I wanted to share these amazing photos I got to show you how magical this place looked. There were so many fun things to explore once you were inside. There was an ice slide, a chair completely carved out of ice, and gorgeous fountain, and a ton of beautiful ice. HAHA To make it even better there was warm Cinnamon Buns, Cookies and Hot Coca to help keep you warm.
What made the experience at the ice castle even better was that when we were in the Ice Castle it began to snow. Like I mentioned I truly felt as if I was in a fairytale. If you are from the New England area, I HIGHLY recommend that you take the drive up so that you too can experience this gorgeous place!
I hope that you enjoyed seeing my fun day trip from this weekend!
