Bedroom Transformation + New Wallpaper

Hey girl! I am so happy to get to talk with you girls today.

This weekend I was feeling a little bit adventurous and wanted to add a little POP to my bedroom. To be honest my bedroom was more minimalistic before nothing too crazy, but I wanted to add a little bit of fun. So what did I do? I grabbed my computer and checked out what Target had for peel and stick wallpaper. I found this adorable speckled black print and I knew that it would be perfect!Β

TIP: Buy more rolls of wallpaper then you need! So I totally underestimated the project and I thought that two rolls would wayyyy more then enough (I was so wrong!) I ended up having to drive super far to pick up two other rolls. In total to cover one wall it took me four rolls. Totally worth it!

I know what you are probably thinking… How long did that take you? All together hanging it probably took three to four hours. I did everything myself (unless Teddy counts), I definitely think that it would help having a second set of hands. But girlfriend you can do it yourself!!!

TIP: When you are at Target also pick up an x-acto knife to get smooth edges around the corners.

Speaking of corners & edges these were the hardest part of the whole hanging process. Lining up the wallpaper to the ceiling and connecting walls took some patience. Luckily, since the wallpaper is peel and stick you can lay it down and adjust if necessary.

TIP: To smooth the wallpaper when you are hanging it you can use a smoothing tool, but you can also use a credit card! I personally used a credit card and it worked great! This helped to get rid of any air bubbles.

What do you think girls?! I absolutely love it and am so happy with how it turned out!
